Welcome to "The Go Years"

Dewayne and I have always loved to travel and experience new things. However, it wasn’t until we both retired, that we were able to travel when we were ready to go. Now that we are older, we don’t travel the same way we did when we were younger and want to be able to share some of our own experiences and tips with fellow senior travelers.

We named our site “The Go Years”, because as they say, “60s are the go years and 70s are the slow years”. So, we want to go as much as we can while we can.

We are starting this blog to share our adventures, experiences and lessons learned. We will be sharing information about our travel; our food and dining experiences; points of interests and other entertainment activities.

We are both very new to blogging, vlogging and using technology, so we will do the best we can and look forward to improving as we go.

We hope you all enjoy our adventures, (the good and the bad), as much as we do!
